					<h2>The Villages of Mt. Hood have some gift ideas<br />
you won't always find in the city!</h2>
					
					<p>What about an outdoor experience?&nbsp; Call the Mt.   Hood Info Center  team (503.622.4822) for a guide referral for the experience of your choice,  including fly fishing, white water rafting, etc.</p>

                    <p>Outdoor gear is always a pleaser.&nbsp; Try Mountain Sports  (where Breeze used to be), Hoodland Plaza, Welches.</p>
                    <p>Or maybe  locally made food products!&nbsp; The  following make great stocking stuffers:&nbsp;  Donna Jean&rsquo;s Caramels (found in many retail shops, including Heart of  the Mountain); Mt. Hood Roasters Coffee Company blends (available through their  shop in Rhododendron or The Roasters Restaurant in Welches).</p>
                    <p>For fine, handcrafted jewelry using precious metals, ask for  Luzon Birdsong&rsquo;s work at The Heart of the Mountain, Welches.&nbsp; </p>
                    <p>Original photographs of Mt.   Hood and its native plants, birds  and animals can be found at the Mt. Hood   Information Center,  next to Mt. Hood   Village, Welches</p>
                    <p>Looking for Mt. Hood  images in paintings, pottery, hand-screened prints and other art media...check  out Wy&rsquo;East Art Book Shoppe and Art Gallery,  Rendezvous Center  in Welches.</p>
                    <p>Or for the fiber artist&hellip;.a yarn kit (book, yarns and  needles) from Cast One On in Rhododendron.</p>
                    <p>You can get certificates for golf or croquet at The Resort  at The Mountain.</p>
                    <p>Most of our lodging and dining establishments offer gift  certificates.&nbsp; We bet you will find that  anyone would love a stay in The Villages for rest, relaxation or recreation in  the forest. </p>
