What better time to buy your winter sports equipment or a warm, comfy sweater or chill-busting jacket than during your winter visit to The Villages of Mt Hood. If you are looking for snowboards, downhill & cross-country skis, snowshoes and accessories, check out Mountain Sports in the Hoodland Plaza shopping center in Welches. Owned by long-time locals, Tom & Sonya Butler, Mountain Sports specializes in sales and rentals of winter sports equipment.
The Butlers recently purchased the former Breeze Ski Rentals Shop, which was open seasonally. Mountain Sports will be open year-round offering camping, hiking, climbing gear, clothing and other outdoor supplies. If you need coats, ski bibs or another pair of gloves, goggles, gaiters, socks or other snow sport accessories, you will find a great supply of these as well as other items in the shop.
