Mt Hood In Bloom
for May & June

Wild Rhododendrons

The most popular and easily seen native flower in the Villages of Mt Hood this time of year is the Rhododendron.  While the Rhodies start blooming the first of May in the lowlands, you will find multitudes of these multi petaled, fluffy pink flowers covering their evergreen shrubs throughout the Villages of Mt Hood through June.

On a hike or just driving by, the large pink blossoms fill the landscape.
