Hoodland Fruit Stand

is Open for the Summer

Cliff, who is a long time mountain fixture and managed the produce department at Thriftway for many years, is now operating the fresh produce stand, specializing in local and straight-from-the farm produce along with his friend, Toney. 

The quality and prices are comparable to and often even better than the grocery store and he has also added some nursery stock this summer.  Check out the fresh local berries and corn on the cob in July and August, followed by peaches and apricots. 

The produce stand is located next to the Brightwood Store in downtown Brightwood.  Cliff is also known for his Saturday night Karaoke performances at The Shack Sports Bar.  Some locals say he has a "Willie Nelson" style of voice, even though he enjoys all genres of music.
