Grand Opening of Still Creek Basin and Jeff Flood Express Chairlift at Timberline Ski Area. Still Creek Basin contains 8 new alpine trails providing connectivity to existing terrain. The cumulative linear feet of new trails equals 5.8 miles. Still Creek Basin also brings a new opportunity at Timberline for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. The Snowshoe Trail, a brand new trail from Timberline Lodge, through the woods, to the bottom of the new chairlift. Our stories are written by Andrée Larson. Andrée grew up in the Portland/Vancouver area. She earned an MA in Art History at the University of Oregon, and writes about the history and culture of people and communities. She’s spent time in Europe and on the East Coast, and says the Pacific Northwest is hands down the best place to live. She currently lives in Tacoma with her husband, an artist..
