WHAT'S NEW?

What's New

in the Villages of Mt Hood

scenic lodgingNestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range of northwest Oregon, in a small rain forest valley is the Salmonberry Springs Cottage.  At the end of the road in the Village of Welches, the guest cottage rests in a park-like setting overlooking a duck pond. The cottage has one bedroom, one bathroom, a full kitchen and living room - perfect vacation lodging. Surrounded by forestland, the cottage is a wonderful place to relax or explore the activities around Mt Hood.

Salmonberry Springs Cottage is perfect for travelers needing a quiet respite from their daily lives. The home has a fully equipped kitchen, so you can prepare meals yourself and never have to leave.  However if you would like to really take it easy, Barbara and Doug, your hosts at Salmonberry Springs, are great cooks and would be happy to prepare meals for you; just let them know what you would like when you make your reservation.

scenic lodgingThere is no television in the cottage; you will enjoy not having it.  But if you would like to take advantage of the natural surroundings of Salmonberry Springs, the grounds are available for barbeques, parties and events with 4 or more weeks’ notice (there are restrictions on alcohol consumption and amplified music - the bears only dance to acoustic music.)
