Café Aria Opens in Welches

Café Aria is now open for business!  The owners (Lora Crampton and Nate Bent) are serving up a delicious combination of fresh Stumptown coffee, pastries, quiche, cakes and daily breakfast and lunch specialties cooked up by Busy Bee Catering.  Beginning this month, fresh baked bread will be available, too. Be sure to try their Torta Rustica, which Nate says is something like “shepherd’s pie on steroids.” When is the last time you had a hand-dipped caramel apple? How about a chocolate dipped frozen cheesecake or banana?

Café Aria is new and they are evolving is too! You’ll find it hard to resist stopping in often — which would be a wise thing to do as their menu changes according to the season of fresh ingredients.

Come See Cast One On in their New Location

Roomy, bright and beautifully organized — Cast One On is now conveniently located in the same space as Café Aria — less than a half mile from The Resort at the Mountain. They have also added a quilting department to the shop with fabrics and supplies.  Now you can enjoy espresso, goodies, Declan yarns, fabric, classes and more. Be sure to check their website for updates on knitting classes.
