Looking for a Special Oregon Wedding Location with Lodging?

This B&B Lodge Offers a Perfect Blend of Warmth, Grandeur and Hospitality!

sandy salmonWedding celebrations at the Sandy Salmon Bed & Breakfast in Brightwood, Oregon give Jerry and Maggie Emmert the pleasure of meeting people from all over.  They’ve a lively welcome and plenty of room in their lodge on five-and-a-half acres with a beautiful view of two rivers.  All that space came in handy for one particular guest at a summer wedding on the grounds:  the favorite horse carrying a bride to her big day.

Natural beauty is a notable feature throughout and around the 6000 square foot house.  Even the front door pulls are bronze salmon made by a local artist, and the foyer offers you the soothing sight and sound of an indoor pond with koi, goldfish, and its own waterfall.

The heart of the house is warmed by a massive rock fireplace with a mantel made of a dramatically twisted juniper log.  Four guest rooms, a recreation room and a theater room contain attractive furnishings.  Many of these are fine examples of the woodcrafter’s art.  In the Eagles Nest, which is always reserved for the bridal suite, a king size canopy bed of natural aspen offers a unique blend of romance and comfort.

You’ll find more rustic design throughout the house:  the pool table’s burl log base, the Barlow Trail guestroom’s lodgepole pine furniture, and the wooden bear carvings greeting you here and there.  Outdoors, there’s a three-tier deck with a firepit, where you’ll experience the surrounding wilderness in serenity.

Maggie and Jerry enjoy interacting with their guests and will be very interested to hear all about you.  What better way to start married life than by sharing your nuptials with everyone you love and winding down afterwards with your B&B hosts who know all about making a home together.
